Examples are given including an algorithm that minimises the number of range section zones. Other examples include ways to eliminate some of the time-consuming activities by determining parabola sectors instead of circular sectors as fragments of range profiles. The consequences, i.e. the possibility of varying results, are discussed. Other optimising possibilities are explored, as well.
