Key words:

Abstract: The article presents a numerical method for determining the intensity of sound. The method is based on surface density of sound rays. It assumes that a ray of sound carries a specific acoustic power. As a result, it is no longer necessary to determine intensity in caustics, especially given the fact that intensity determined in caustics using the method employed so far has an infinite value.
