Key words:

Abstract: The paper below presents different aspects of influence of subsurface bubble population on acoustical environment. The role of bubbles in ambient sea noise emission, reverberation processes and signals transmission is presented. The attention has been devoted to specific properties of the Baltic Sea water and its influence on bubble population.
